John McCurdy
Energy Process Technology Program Coordinator
John H. McCurdy has been teaching electronics and instrumentation & controls in industrial environment for over 35 years. He is retired from Pacificorp's Huntington canyon plant were he taught electrical and instrumentation & control apprentice programs, retiring as an I&C supervisor. John is currently employed as the program coordinator for the Energy Process Technology program at the Western Energy Training Center, affiliated with the College of Eastern Utah.
John lives in Price UT. with his wife of 40 years, Susan. He will be 61 in Feb of 2007. John and Sue raised three children, Amy, a Nurse dept. head at Primary Children's Hosp. in SLC, Sharon, who teaches resource at Wellington Elementary, and Russell who works for Incanna a natural gas production Co. in WY. They have 4 grandsons and one grand daughter. Sue is working at a local Law office in Price as well as operating her own Candy Shop. John's interests and hobbies include: Amateur (Ham) Radio, horse back riding/packing, hunting, fishing, X/C skiing and mountain bike riding.
