What is the Workforce Readiness Program?
The Workforce Readiness Program is a comprehensive, eight week process designed by WETC to provide students with basic training for entry-level workers in Energy industries such as Power Generators, Mining, Oil and Gas, Energy Processing and Alternative Systems.
Over the eight weeks period students will receive guidance and hands on training that will prepare them with the skills to enter into the workforce as a safe, aware and responsible employee that adds to the industry
It is the goal of the program to work in conjunction with employers so that students have the opportunities for internships and employment after the completion of the training.

What Will Students Receive?
After students satisfactorily demonstrate basic work readiness skills and behaviors for entry into the Energy Industry, they will receive an Energy Work Readiness Certificate from WETC as well as a Commercial Driver License (CDL) Class B, MSHA/OSHA, UDOT Flagger Certification, Fire Extinguisher Card, First Aid Card, and a CPE/AED Defribrillator Card.
