Currently there is a crisis in the workforce industries. 54% of the workforce is older than 50 years and plan to retire in the next 5-10 years. The energy industry will require 260 new mining engineers per year and at present, only 100 graduates currently graduate each year. Unfortunately, there are not enough trained and qualified workers to replace the positions of these future retirees. Process Technicians will be in demand more than ever in the coming years.
If you have any further questions about Process Technology and/or our program at WETC, please do not hesitate to contact us or visit us on our website. The need for energy professionals in all aspects of the industry is exploding, and we encourage you to take advantage of this rare opportunity.
